Dr. Zhu was born in Zhejiang, China. He obtained his Bachelor degree from Ningbo University in July 2004 and Ph.D degree in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in July 2009 with the guidance of Prof. Feihe Huang. He joined Prof. Stephen J. Loeb’s group in University of Windsor as a postdoctoral fellow in October 2009. In June 2016, he became an associate professor of chemistry in School of Chemistry at Sun Yat-Sen University. In June 2017, he was appointed full Professor at Sun Yat-Sen University. His current research interests are supramolecular chemistry, molecular machines, nano carbonbelts, and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). He has published more than 40 research papers and 2 book chapters including Nature Chemistry, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. etc. H-index: 24.
